Brain Kit. A second brain, installed.

A personal intelligence layer that lives on your machine, configured around your work, your files, and your way of thinking. This document explains what it is, how it handles your data, and why it is installed by hand — not downloaded.

01

What is Brain Kit

Brain Kit is a personal intelligence layer installed directly on your computer, built on Claude and configured around one person: you.

The installation maps how you work: your folders, your tools, your projects, your recurring decisions. From that map, your Brain Kit develops persistent context; it remembers your standards, your clients, your voice. Every session starts where the last one ended.

Built for efficiency

With a built-in token optimizer and an SDD methodology built in, you can work and create more efficiently. Brain Kit thinks like you. The depth comes from configuration, and configuration is craft.

Brain Kit amplifies your voice. Generic AI flattens everyone into the same voice.
02

What you can do with it

Brain Kit is not a chatbot. It is an operational layer. Here is what changes the day after installation.

Multiple projects, zero bleed

Open parallel windows for different clients, businesses, or ventures. Each one carries its own memory, its own permissions, its own context. Nothing leaks between them.

Strategy and vision development

Business plans, brand positioning, market analysis, financial projections, pitch decks — produced at the depth of a strategist who already knows your business, because it does.

Deploy-ready content production

Copy, proposals, presentations, email sequences, social content — in your voice, matching your standards. Not drafts that need rewriting. Finished work.

Decision frameworks

Structured thinking for complex calls. Weigh tradeoffs, model scenarios, stress-test assumptions — with a system that remembers what you decided last time and why.

Research and competitive intelligence

Industry-specific knowledge built into a custom skill for your sector. Regulations, market dynamics, competitor moves, pricing benchmarks — always current, always contextualized to your position.

Daily operations that compound

Morning briefings, task routing, project tracking, memory that grows with every session. The more you use it, the less you repeat yourself. Your second brain gets sharper — not stale.

One person with Brain Kit operates like a team. That is the point.
03

Architecture: local-first by design

Brain Kit's architecture follows one principle: everything stays on your machine. The intelligence is remote; the knowledge is yours. The model does the thinking through a secure API, but everything it knows about you lives in files you can open with any text editor. No proprietary formats. No lock-in. If you ever stop using Brain Kit, your second brain stays behind — as readable documents on your own disk.

LayerWhere it lives
Memory & contextPlain text files on your disk. Readable, editable, deletable by you — no hidden cloud account.
ConfigurationLocal, per-project files defining permissions, skills, and behavior.
Model processingAnthropic's API — the same data path as using Claude or ChatGPT in any app or browser.
Your filesWherever they already are. Brain Kit reads only what you grant, when you ask.
Vector databaseNone. There is no embedding index or knowledge base accumulating in the background.

The five questions every serious user asks

These are the exact questions our clients ask before installation. Here are the direct answers.

01 — Where is the memory stored?

Locally, on your machine. Memory, configuration, and session history live as plain text and Markdown files in a folder on your computer. You can open, edit, or delete any of it at any time.

02 — Is any data sent to external services?

Only to Anthropic, for processing — the same data flow as when you use the Claude app, the ChatGPT app, or any AI in the browser. Prompts and the files the system reads are processed on Anthropic's servers so the model can think; no fully offline frontier AI exists. The difference with Brain Kit: model training on your data is turned off, retention is limited, and cloud-stored content only travels when you explicitly ask for a specific file. No other third parties touch your data.

03 — What files can the agent access?

Only what you grant. Brain Kit operates inside the folders you point it at. First-time access to any new folder requires your explicit approval, and it never crawls your disk or your cloud storage in the background.

04 — Can access be restricted by project?

Yes. Trust is granted per folder, and each project carries its own permission rules. One client's files, your personal files, and your business files can be completely walled off from each other.

05 — Is there a persistent vector database or knowledge base?

No. There is no embedding index or vector database being built. All "knowledge" is human-readable text on your own disk — inspectable and deletable, anytime.

One recommendation that comes standard with every installation: full-disk encryption (FileVault on macOS, BitLocker on Windows). It covers the local side completely and costs nothing.

05

The terminal thesis

Brain Kit runs in the terminal. This is a deliberate design decision.

The terminal lets you see every action, line by line. You see what the system reads, what it writes, what it asks permission for. Nothing happens behind a button.

Your terminal is a filter and a window; it gives you visibility. It brings down all barriers.

For a tool that touches your files, your memory, and your work, that transparency is not optional. It is the security model. A graphical interface that hides what the agent is doing would be more comfortable — and less trustworthy.

There is a second reason. Working in the terminal builds the one skill that compounds in the age of AI: understanding your own system. Brain Kit assumes you either have that understanding or are willing to develop it. The technical threshold is real — and it is part of what you're acquiring. You don't need to be an engineer; you need to be willing to see how your own machine works.

brain-kit — session
# Inspect your memory — it's just files
$ ls ~/.claude/projects/

# Read what your second brain remembers
$ cat ~/.claude/CLAUDE.md

# Every permission is explicit
> Claude requests access to ~/Documents/contracts
> Allow? (y/n)

Installation as craft

Brain Kit is not downloaded. It is installed by Menteorama Studio, by hand, on your machine — because the value is not in the software, it is in the configuration.

What the installation includes

PhaseWhat happens
MappingA working conversation: your projects, your tools, your workflows, how you decide. This becomes the foundation of your context.
ArchitectureFolder structure, project boundaries, permission rules, and privacy settings — including training opt-out — configured and verified.
SkillsCustom behavioral instructions tuned to your actual work: your writing voice, your standards, your recurring deliverables.
HandoffYou operate it live, with us in the room, until the terminal feels like yours.

Hyper Personalization like nothing you have seen.

A generic AI subscription gives everyone the same tool; Brain Kit gives you a personalized, configured system. You are getting a product that maps your mind into your machine and the fact is the result cannot be copied to anyone else's computer.

What it costs — and what you're paying for.

ComponentInvestment
Installation + Configuration$11,111 MXN — one time. Intake interview, custom industry skill, 27-skill configuration, business encyclopedia, remote installation on your machine. Everything personalized. Nothing generic.
Ongoing Support$3,333 MXN/month. Skill updates as the system improves, memory curation, priority support. Cancel anytime — you keep your Brain forever.
RequiresA Claude Pro subscription ($20 USD/month at claude.ai). This is the AI engine that powers your Brain — separate from Menteorama, paid directly to Anthropic.

The setup fee is not for software. It is for the hours spent learning your business, building your custom industry skill from scratch, configuring 27 behavioral modules to your voice and priorities, and installing everything by hand on your machine. Two businesses in the same industry will get two completely different Brains — because the configuration is built around the person, not the sector.

The monthly retainer keeps your Brain evolving. As we improve the skill system, you get the updates. As your business changes, your Brain adapts. Without the retainer, your Brain still works — it just stops growing.

07

Who this is for

Brain Kit is for people who are tired of tools that think for everyone equally. Founders, strategists, creators, operators; people with enough context in their heads that losing it to a generic chatbot every session is a real cost. The system rewards engagement; it compounds with use.

For teams and full business operations, the same philosophy scales through Menteorama Studio — custom AI systems wired into your company's workflows.

Start with your own brain. Everything else follows.
